LDStorymakers Conference

Nan Marie Swapp, Melanie Mason, Michelle Wilson
So I was able to attend the LDStorymakers Conferene at the beginning of this month. What a crazy experience. I really love attending writing conferences, but I always end up leaving the conference feeling like my head is going to explode from all the things I learned and that I will never, never, never be a good author.

I think this comes with the conference territory. Hopefully I'm not the only one. :)

I learned a lot and gained some amazing insights for my writing. Things that will hopefully help me in the future.

I also got to hold some wicked medieval swords, daggers, maces, etc. That was fun.

I went into a chat with the pros room and at the end of that session in walked James Dashner, author of The Maze Runner series. That was fun.

All in all, I had a great time. I got to spend some quality time with a few of my ANWA sisters and met some great new friends. I look forward to the opportunity to attend again in the near future.
